Microsoft
Sell your Xbox Series S.
The small white one that was somebody's first console, or somebody's second console, and is now nobody's console. Get a real number for it.
The Series S is the console people bought sensibly. It was cheaper, it was small, it did the job, and it never quite generated the emotional attachment that makes a person keep hardware forever. Which is exactly why so many of them end up in cupboards with the controller cable wrapped around them.
It holds a solid resale price in South Africa because it is the cheapest genuine current-generation console you can buy, and there is a steady stream of people who want exactly that. Its storage is the one thing that ages badly, since 512GB stopped being a comfortable amount of space several very large games ago.
If yours has been demoted to the guest room, it is worth more as money than as decor.
Every one of these has two numbers.
What it is worth working, and what it is worth faulty. Both are real, both are yours in about a minute, and both depend on the actual console rather than a best case printed on a page. That is why the number lives in the calculator and not in a table here.

Upgrading?
Then you are not really selling. You are part-paying.
The most sensible upgrade on this whole site. Same ecosystem, same account, same Game Pass, no reinstalling anything, and it fixes the two things people actually complain about on a Series S: the storage and the disc drive it does not have.
Take the payout as EpicDeals.co.za credit instead of cash and we add 12% on top. That is us paying you for not needing the money in your account today, and it costs you nothing if you were going to spend it here anyway.
The 12% is only worth taking if you were going to spend it. If you need the cash, take the cash, and we will not make the voucher hard to refuse.
What actually moves the number.
512GB versus 1TB
The 1TB black model is the more desirable one, for the obvious reason that the 512GB model runs out of space roughly two games in. Pick the right one in the calculator, the difference is real.
Expansion card, if fitted
Series S owners were far more likely to buy an expansion card, because they had to. If yours is in there, it is worth pricing separately.
Whether it has been moved a lot
The Series S is portable enough that many of them travelled between houses, holidays and res rooms. That is fine, it just means more scuffs and more chance of a bent port, both of which we check.
Controller condition
The bundled controller is usually the most worn part of a Series S, because it is the part that got used. Send it regardless.
Things that do not disqualify it.
Every one of these lowers the offer. Not one of them ends it. Pick the matching condition, say what is wrong in the notes, and the price you are shown already accounts for it.
- Storage full or failing internal drive
- No video output or HDMI faults
- Overheating, fan noise, dust build-up
- Controller drift, worn thumbsticks
- Power brick or power-on failures
- Yellowing on the white shell, scuffs, dents
- Liquid damage
Three ways to take the money.
