Lenovo

Sell your Legion Go.

Including the Gen 2, which is currently the single highest-value machine in our whole console catalogue. Instant offer, free courier.

The Legion Go is the handheld for people who read the spec sheet. Detachable controllers, an unusually large high-refresh screen, and in the Gen 2's case an OLED panel and a price tag that puts it above most laptops people own. That specification is why it is worth so much second-hand, and also why so few private buyers in South Africa are willing to hand over that much cash to a stranger.

That is the whole reason this page exists. We will pay a real, fixed number for a machine that would otherwise sit on a marketplace listing for a month collecting lowball offers and questions about whether you would take half that in cash today.

The Gen 2 in good condition is the most valuable single item on this site. If that is what you have, the calculator is worth the sixty seconds.

Every one of these has two numbers.

What it is worth working, and what it is worth faulty. Both are real, both are yours in about a minute, and both depend on the actual console rather than a best case printed on a page. That is why the number lives in the calculator and not in a table here.

Upgrading?

Then you are not really selling. You are part-paying.

An original Legion Go trades in for a genuinely large share of a Gen 2, which is the closest thing to a straight swap on this site. Same detachable controllers, much better screen.

Take the payout as EpicDeals.co.za credit instead of cash and we add 12% on top. That is us paying you for not needing the money in your account today, and it costs you nothing if you were going to spend it here anyway.

The 12% is only worth taking if you were going to spend it. If you need the cash, take the cash, and we will not make the voucher hard to refuse.

What actually moves the number.

Which Legion Go it is

Three machines, wildly different values. The Gen 2 is worth more than double the original. The Go S has fixed controllers rather than detachable ones and sits below both. Check before you pick.

Both detachable controllers, and the FPS mouse mode

On the original and the Gen 2, the controllers detach and one works as a vertical mouse. Missing controllers hurt the value badly, since they are not sold separately here.

Screen condition

Large screens attract large scratches. On the Gen 2's OLED, burn-in is also worth checking for. Both are priced rather than refused.

The kickstand and the charger

The built-in kickstand is a common breakage point, and the high-wattage charger is specific to the machine. Include the charger, mention the kickstand.

Things that do not disqualify it.

Every one of these lowers the offer. Not one of them ends it. Pick the matching condition, say what is wrong in the notes, and the price you are shown already accounts for it.

  • Broken or loose kickstand
  • Detachable controller not latching, connecting or charging
  • Stick drift, worn triggers
  • Screen scratches, dead pixels, OLED burn-in
  • Battery not holding charge
  • Fan noise, overheating, throttling
  • Will not boot, or boots to a Windows error

Three ways to take the money.

Legion Go questions.

In good working order, yes, it is the highest-value console on this site. That is also the argument for not leaving it in a drawer for another year.

One minute, one number.

No account, no obligation, no salesperson phoning you at supper time.
