What actually moves the number.
Disc drive, present and working
A disc edition is worth more than a digital one, and a disc edition with a drive that has stopped reading discs is worth roughly what a digital one is. If your drive makes a noise like a coffee grinder, say so. It is not a dealbreaker, it is just a number.
How it was ventilated
A PS5 that lived in a closed TV cabinet has run hotter for its whole life than one that stood in the open. We check thermals and fan noise. This is one of the few places where how you treated it shows up in cash.
Controllers, and their sticks
A DualSense in good order adds to the offer. A DualSense with stick drift adds less, but still adds. Send them either way, we would rather price them than have you throw them in a drawer.
